The Destination
There is nowhere else on earth where you watch an elephant family move across an ancient dry lakebed with the snow-capped dome of Kilimanjaro rising behind them. Amboseli is that singular place — a landscape of ash-white dust, swamp-fed green oases, and the largest free-roaming elephants in Africa.
The Amboseli elephant research project has tracked families here for over 50 years — and AT ONE's guides know many of these animals individually. This is one of the most intimate elephant experiences available anywhere in East Africa. The social intelligence of these herds, observed over time, reveals something close to wisdom.
